"Red Reeds" - I want these at the entrance to my house!

"In Finland we started making these long cylindrical pieces that looked like spears. This was an exciting new form.
It was the first time we had made anything like that...they can be taken anywhere they can go outside...
they are very strong and very dramatic." -Chihuly

TURBAN?

So bad it's awesome?
Turbans have been resurrected on the runway since 2007 (Prada). They most notably struck up whispers when Ms. Wearstler wore one on Bravo's Top Design- yet apparently the trend is still hip 3 years later? (see Carrie SATC2) What?

My first post...maybe someone will read it??

I believe design should be anything but average- life is too short for ordinary spaces and places-design should either be really awesome or incredibly dreadful but nothing in between. Even bad design sparks interest and let us not forget design is all subjective anyway-one's trash another's treasure :)
